The district's academic crown jewel is Lincoln Park Academy, a nationally recognized 6-12 magnet school celebrated for its elite International Baccalaureate program and Project Lead the Way engineering curriculum. While the district faces a minor budget constraint due to a recent, unexpected enrollment dip driven by state-level school choice expansion, leadership has proactively managed the shortfall at the administrative level to protect classrooms and avoid layoffs.
